Jen and DAVe are Close Enough Promo

May 15th, 2009 by DAVe

Well, I was thinking I needed to put on my creative hat and make us a new promo. Looks like I was beaten to the punch and this one is a knock out. Steve C. from the From The Edge Podcast put his creative juices into the creative blender and created a beautiful creation. Steve C is a mutual friend from The Bearcrawling Podcast and if you went there and became a subscriber because of my recommendation. Don’t forget to tell Big C that DAVe sent you so I can wease the juice and get a free T-Shirt. So thanks Steve C.! You did an awesome job.

I am glad you like the promo! I had the idea for it all week and finally had the time to produce it. Use it in good health!

Remember, Jesus loves you….but just as a friend.

  2. Jen Says:

Thanks so much for doing it for us! What an honor! :)

I am one of the co-hosts on theicepodcast; this is a comedy podcast that we record weekly from a studio in Liverpool, England. The podcast began in 2008, a podcast which we’ve improved week after week, through doing silly parody songs, and comedy segments. However, recently we’ve been doing a series of interview podcasts, we usually interview somebody for about 45-55 minutes and edit together a concise interview show. In the past we’ve had the privilege to interview the likes of Joel Gunz who does a Alfred Hitchcock Geek Blog, he’s recognised as a true expert on Hitchcock by many notable film critics and he recently opened a Q&A segment on Broadway’s stage adaptation of ‘The 39 Steps’. We’ve also had the privilege to interview many other people including Brian Ibbott, whose recognised as one of the true podcasting pioneers, with his shows ‘Coverville’, ‘Today in Music History’ and ‘Film Sack’. Brian was also included in apple iTunes favourite podcasts list for 2008 and 2009.

I am writing this to help out in some crossover promotion like promo plays etc, are you at all interested??

I hope to hear from you soon and if there is anything theicepodcast can do for you please get in touch. Keep up the great work.
